WHO WE ARE

WOW Gospel is a non-denominational and non-discriminating Gospel music talent show. WOW is an acronym for Waves of Worship. This was carved from the need to raise a pure breed of gospel music ministers where they can inculcate Godly patterns such as integrity, sincerity, humility and a deep hunger for God. The talent hunt is focused on giving emerging music ministers a platform to showcase their skills and potentials as well as interact and learn new ideas within the music industry. It is also an opportunity to connect with other music ministers who are in this field. Wow gospel icon is also passionate about encouraging music ministers to stay in gospel music and not be swayed by the pressures and enticement of our day to leave the ministry for secular. The music contest is not restricted to a particular age or group, anyone who has passion for gospel music can compete with other contestants for the grand prize. This promises to be fun filled, refreshing, energetic, edifying, memorable, insightful, educational and safe for all contestants.

OVERVIEW

The wow gospel music reality TV talent show is set to hold its first edition from October 2022. The first round of auditions held in the 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria. All the 20 selected contestants from the 6 geopolitical zones will be camped in a house for one month. The show will be shown weekly on DSTV/GOTV and all social media platforms, with weekly live shows where evictions will be done at the end of every week until the final week where the final winner will emerge. Prizes, training offers and mentorship deals (enrolment in music ministry college) will be awarded to winners respectively.

To create a support system for the gospel music ministry.
To harness raw talents from a growing generation, to serve as a springboard to equip and advance all upcoming music ministers with the necessary training while providing mentorship and expanding their reach to the right platform and showcase their talent to the world.
